I ended up not going to work yesterday because when I called Jeff to say I was coming in, he said to just take the whole day off. I just got done revising my text-version resume to apply for this job. I stayed home to do it, 'cause notice the due date? Mm-hm.

So now I'm off to fax them my college transcripts and then to work!

Looks like I probably have a temporary job (through the end of June). ManPower called me this afternoon, with a rush need for a GIS database analyst. They found my resume on Dice. I certainly don't fit the job desciption perfectly, but hey, I'm damn good at figuring things out.

I got a call from Kaiser last week. My new policy won't cover my CPAP; if I want to keep using it, I'll have to pay for it out of my own pocket. I finally got that blasted application in (City of Sacramento GIS) on Friday. I couldn't find my college transcripts or diploma, so I ended up attaching a note to the application package saying they were en route. The personnel office said that would be okay.
